The aim of the Advanced Techniques course is to deepen one’s knowledge of specific etching processes that require a basic understanding and experience beforehand.
This workshop is therefore specialised for those with previous knowledge in Etching (or an Introduction and Aquatint workshop previously done with me)
There is a myriad of options we can focus on and each technique will open new doors and new horizons to experiment with.
Each workshop will comprise of 3 sessions (approx.4 hours) during which we will prepare the plates, etch nd print.

Soap ground
Soft ground / vernis mou
Spite bite

Participants are required to have sufficient knowledge and experience of etching OR the accomplishment of both Introduction and Aquatint course with me.
