Hadass Gilboa (b. 1983, Israel) is a visual artist based in Berlin, working primarily with printmaking, drawing, installation, and video. Her practice explores themes of memory, displacement, ephemerality, and the body through layered, process-driven works that often incorporate traditional printmaking techniques alongside experimental approaches to material and space.
Gilboa holds a BFA in Screen-Based Art with a focus on Stop-Motion Animation from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (2007-2011), and studied Art History at the University of Haifa and UCL Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. She specialized in printmaking, particularly intaglio techniques, at Zaritzki Artist's House, Tel Aviv (2013-2017), and further developed her practice through residencies including TAKT A.I.R, Berlin (2018), KUBA A.I.R, Brandenburg (2023), and the BAI Studio Program by Berlin Art Institute (2025).
Recent solo and duo exhibitions include Connecting Vessels at Backhaus Projects, Berlin (2025), Fragments at Kunstfabrik HB55 (2024), and Calculus at Tapir Gallery, Berlin (2022). Her work has been shown in group exhibitions across Berlin, Tel Aviv, and internationally, including at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, USA. Gilboa has received multiple grants supporting community-focused print projects, including funding from the Berliner Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung and Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa.
In addition to her artistic practice, Gilboa co-runs the Werkstatt für Lithographie in Berlin, organizing courses, workshops, and collaborative printmaking projects throughout the city.
